| Proposals to a short section of River, overlooking Shrewsburys' new Theatre, from accross the river Severn. The site is on a flood plane. The proposed structural 'wave' with gardens above and semi- sheltered events space below, lights projectors, web- cams and loud speakers on the waves' crest, out of reach from both the flood- plane and of the public. Listening points would be incorporated into the garden, the whole arrangement hooked up to the internet, allowing organisers to stream an everchanging program of displays & talks. |
