THE MICROBIKE
Sketch of ultracompact recumbent cycle unfolded.
Die cast aluminum alloy is used to form the two small side plates which form the bike's frame. Front and rear swinging arms are of pressed aluminum. Glass filled polyester dough moulding compound is used extensively in the wheels and seat.
Note the 'telescopic' peddles, to allow adjustment to leg size. Automatic transmission is through a cable and bobbin system.
