| Illustrated above are details of a system of fused glass and steel leafs. Recycled glass can be fused under heat and pressure to form robust, translucent sections. Fiber optic cables carry static and animated light along these sections. Less vulnerable to vandelism than conventional fittings, the light source may be located remotely. Possibilities include the channelling of natural light, sound and projected images from the outside world. |
